It has given us direct access to someone’s phone without having a phone number, and sped up the process of emailing. The opportunity to connect with our audience through social media in real time reveals a whole new spectrum of opportunities. They key is to take advantage of them.
1. Acknowledge your social media management

When working with restaurants, we always learn about their ethos about providing a great experience for their guests. Most of the time, it starts with the booking process. Transparent and accommodating communication during bookings prepares the guests for a great experience during their visit. But what about what happens before?
Social media has become the modern day yellow pages and continues to be the main source of brand discovery. Often times, potential clients will reach out with questions and enquiries after searching the brand on social media to get a better idea of what they do. 3. Ask for feedback
Because social media is such a great way to reach your audience, taking advantage of gathering information from your supporters is vital. To know the preferences and opinions of your audience is to omit a costly guessing game. By nature, humans love giving input. Adding polls, surveys, and copy that encourages feedback is a great way to gain information, and increase engagement on your page.
Don’t make it all business
You become spammy. Social media is the digital form of ‘freedom of expression’ and your audience is interested in all the stuff behind the scenes. They want to know where the company stems from and interact with you on a personal level. Expressing your views, and using a bit of humor is a great way to connect and interact on social media. We find that humor often drives engagement and makes brand approachable which results in loyalty and fanaticism.
